Reese was surrendered by her breeder because it was thought she had a heart murmur. Like so many young dogs with murmurs, hers was closed by the time she reached CRM. Reese is learning what it is to be a house puppy and is now playing endlessly with her young foster siblings. Reese will need to continue to learn house rules and housebreaking. She has learned pad training quite well already.
Reese will be placed in her forever home under a Foster with intention to adopt once Reese is old enough to be spayed. At that time final adoption will occur.

Kobe is a cavalier/Cocker mix who is energetic, lovable and a very happy boy. He loves all people and most dogs, but is a little intimidated by large dogs at first. He is fine once he has gotten to know and trust them.
His foster mom reports that he loves to play fetch with the ball, is doing well with obeying basic commands. He is a fast runner and a high jumper so a fenced in yard with a taller fence will be needed. He loves going for walks and is doing well with his leash training. He is coming along well with his potty training. He does sometimes have to go in the crate when no one is home. He will bark for a bit but then settles down.
He sleeps in the bed with his foster family and his foster siblings. He loves to cuddle up and lay on his back for belly rubs. He is just the sweetest boy and will follow his person everywhere. He just wants to be near.

Sweet and happy Lola simply loves the attention of her foster family. Lola is learning what it is like to live in a home, including house training and very basic obedience. She is very smart and a fast learner. Lola loves to roam the fenced in backyard with her foster sibling and darts after anything that moves. Lola loves to run and play outside she would likely do well with older children, although has not had experience with children, cats or other small animals.
Lola is eating her raw diet with vigor! Using the Mine Pet Platter has helped her to overcome the fear of a bowl. Who wants to stick their face into a bowl, covering their face to eat anyway!

A note from Foster Mom:
Natalie is such a sweetheart!! Very cuddly. She is still shy if you come toward her too quickly, and definitely more with men than women. But she does warm up and cuddles well ❤️. She is very playful, loves to play fetch the ball and brings it back to you about 85% of the time 🙂. Good appetite. Doing great on house training but does have occasional accidents especially BMs. She sleeps with us, but a lot of the time she will sleep on the dog bed in the corner of our room. Gets loud when she is excited to eat or go outside 🙂

Trigger is a 6-year-old, 13-pound fellow who’s ready for a forever home. He loves his walks, stroller rides and visiting with neighbors, both human and furry. Trigger came into rescue as a very scared little fellow. Now he dances in circles when it’s time for grooming, treats, meals and walks, and knows some basic obedience commands. House training is going well. He is still working to overcome his fear of strangers who enter his house and yard and in former foster home reacted, however, he has been moved back to his original foster home that is a lot less active and no fear reaction has been noted. Very quick movements startle him and the stairs to go outside occasionally can be a challenge. Trigger loves hanging out in the back yard, snuggling with his foster family and cuddling in bed. Trigger requires a quiet adult only household with dog-experienced humans, infrequent guests and a fenced yard.

3 yr old Lily has endured a lot in her short life and has conquered all! She first arrived in rescue Heartworm Positive and marched through the treatment like the warrior she is! After a period of after care, Lily underwent bilateral luxating patella repair. Lily spent a week in intensive rehab before coming to her foster home to continue therapy. She did have a set back and had to have a pin removed but in Lily fashion, she flew right through it! Lily is all healed, learning to play with her foster sisters and absolutely loves living in a home. Lily's foster home does not have a fenced yard and she has taken upon it herself to wander over to the neighbor via open back yards. As we know Lily will want to continue her adventures and not at all happy being on a tie out, a fenced yard is on her wish list. Lily is especially attached to her humans, she also wishes for some home most hours so she can do what she does best, snuggle up! Little children and their fast actions have proven to be a bit scary...next on the Lily wish list is an adult home or one with older children who understand her needs. Regular potty breaks is helping with the house training but an accident occasionally still happens. Lily devours her raw diet and is thriving well on it.
