4 month old Willie was reluctantly released by his owner after episodes of diarrhea, vomiting, loss of appetite along with trembling and weight gain. Will spent many days and nights in local ER and vet with every test imaginable with all pointing to Addison's until the last test came in and no Addison's. Our plan was to then start at the beginning, deworm and detox as he was given all vaccines, including lepto and vaccinosis was suspected. Willie has eagerly been eating his raw naturally sourced diet, has been derwormed and detoxed along with liver support. To date, no further sign of vaccinosis and a weight gain of one pound!
Willie is not available to be placed in foster to adopt home (dogs are not legally able to be adopted until after neuter/spay), however, once ready, approved applicants will be considered.
Willie is living with other dogs and the ability to play with others. He is doing well learning house manner with multiple trips outside, in a fenced yard, each day.

Reminder: All dogs must be fed a raw, naturally sourced diet. Suggested sources are www.mypercarnivore.com and www. rawdeliverymn.com If you are not a current raw feeder, please visit these sites and have a plan for future feeding prior to applying for adoption consideration.
Equally important is natural flea/tic prevention. Goods resources are BugOff from www.springtimeinc.com and Wondercide products from www.wondercide.com

3 yr old Tango is a retired breeder. She is bit skittish and shy but comes to life when she can run and explore in the fenced in yard. Tango is working on house manners, is eating well off of her minepetplatter and sleeping through the night on her human's bed. Tango lives with other dogs, has not been exposed to cats or children. a fenced yard and a family home most of the time would be best.
08/16/2021 Tango experienced a grand mal seizure. She does not have a seizure history but was given credelio for fleas and ticks not long prior to coming into rescue. We will keep a watchful eye on her. Tango shares her home with other dogs, has no cat or small children experience.

UPDATE: Jaxon has been diagnosed with EPI. We have started with enzymes and vitamin B12 injections.

3 yr old Jaxon is still getting used to life in a home. He is learning human touch is a good touch and can now be physically picked up without running away. He does love to lay next you on the couch or bed! Jaxon is thin and now up to 3 feedings a day and finally can tolerate it. He is also still learning house manners, so a patient home in regards to house breaking is a must. Jaxon lives harmoniously with both cats and dogs. Because of shyness and flight risk, a fenced yard is best.

Reminder: All dogs must be fed a raw, naturally sourced diet. Suggested sources are www.mypercarnivore.com and www. rawdeliverymn.com. If you are not a current raw feeder, please visit these sites and have a plan for future feeding prior to applying for adoption consideration.

UPDATE: Charlie had knee surgery 08/19/2021 to repair luxation.

Meet Charlie ! This handsome guy is looking for a forever home to call his very own! Charlie’s foster mom says he is a great dog. He is still acclimating to life in a house and is learning to trust. A standing adult is still scary to him, but if you crouch or sit, he’ll come to you immediately inside and out. He would do best with another dog in the home to help teach him what the good life is all about. Charlie is quite a kisser (so if you don’t like that, he is not the dog for you) He just can’t help but show you his appreciation for his new life! He’s doing well working on house training but like all dogs who come into rescue and make a major life change, it just takes time. He enjoys snuggling on the couch. He sleeps quietly in a crate next to foster moms bed but would probably also enjoy sleeping in bed with his people.

Reminder: All dogs must be fed a raw, naturally sourced diet. Suggested sources are www.mypercarnivore.com and www. rawdeliverymn.com. If you are not a current raw feeder, please visit these sites and have a plan for future feeding prior to applying for adoption consideration.

1.5 year old Biscuit AKA Buddy Biscuit is as much fun as he is cute! He is a Cavalier/Cocker Blend. BB has had a bit of a rough start with multiples homes in his short and absolutely no fault of his. This is why we say do not fall in love with an adorable puppy face unless you are ready for all that goes with it. Biscuit has outgrown all of the regular puppy shenanigans and is now just a fun loving guy. It is not unusual to find him snuggled up against his human! It does take him a bit to get comfortable and to realize he is not headed of to another place. A great confidence builder is a home willing to do some sort of competition, ie agility, rally, obedience, barn hunting, maybe even dock diving! BB will require a fenced yard as he has become spooked in earlier days and because he is so agile, he could be gone quickly. Currently living with other dogs and gets along great, often found snuggling up. He also thinks your lap is pretty great too! He is not a fan of being left alone. It took a few days but now Buddy knows raw food is tasty and eagerly waits for his Mine Pet Platter full!

Reminder: All dogs must be fed a raw, naturally sourced diet. Suggested sources are www.mypercarnivore.com and www. rawdeliverymn.com If you are not a current raw feeder, please visit these sites and have a plan for future feeding prior to applying for adoption consideration.

**MEDICAL HOLD**
One year old Mila arrived in CRM with bilateral rear leg deformities, emaciated, weighting only 2.8 lbs.
Mila has had a consultation with surgeon and he feels, although no guarantees, he can perform surgery and help Mila. At this point Mila is not stable enough for surgery. She will be having a 6 week follow up in the coming weeks to see if she is stable enough. her weight is currently 4.8 lbs.

UPDATE: Mila was able to have bilateral leg surgeries and a spay. Mila is tolerating stretching and Physical therapy. Mila is now using BOTH of her legs! Surgery is considered a success. She may never have what we consider normal use of her legs, she is getting around. Her back is still hunched over and receiving chiropractic care as well as acupuncture.
