6 yr old Tasha is about the most well adjusted, happy girl of them all! She goes with the flow no matter the situation. A favorite past time is playing with her foster sibling, tug being an all time favorite. Tasha is also very affectionate and just adores her humans, when not playing you can find her fast asleep on the lap! Tasha was taken to the raw diet and the benefits are showing via her beautiful tri color coat (which is coming in nicely after being cut very short at the commercial breeder.) A fenced yard is preferred so that Tasha can continue to run and play safely...did someone say she was 6 yrs old? You would never know it!

Bonnie is described as an outgoing, energetic, fun girl who is "a real dog"!!! She is eager to learn more and more basic commands. It is felt Bonnie would be great in a competition home, ie rally/obedience, barn hunting, agility, etc. At 2 yrs old, Bonnie can have a mischievous side if bored. She lives with another dog in her foster home, however, has not met cats or children but we feel she will be fine with children as long as they are respectful of dogs. Bonnie is a larger framed Cavalier at 28lbs. She easily accepted the raw diet and is food motivated. House breaking is coming along well. Recall has yet to be perfected, a physical is preferred, however, she is learning leash skills well.

Gilmore is a 1.5 year old English Toy Spaniel who was lucky enough to be rescued from a breeder shut down by another breeder who learned of the situation and then released to CRM. He is a bit shy and not so sure of the world around him, esp humans. He will need a human that is patient and will allow Gilmore the time needed to blossom. I guarantee the reward will be worth it! Gilmore currently lives with other dogs and will be best with an easy going dog. He will require a secure physical fenced yard as he will easily find a way to roam and will not be easy to recover. Gilmore will sink into a sit with his one paw up as a surrender. He took easily to his raw diet and does great with the mine pet platter with his flatter face. Gilmore has been neutered and his undescended testicle was retrieved. He is still sporting a belly band most of the time and learning the rules of inside living.

7 yr old Monica appears to have experienced a lot in her life prior to CRM. Slowly she is discovering what most call "the good life"...good food, a safe place to roam and a warm, soft bed! Monica arrived very shy and as time goes by, she sheds more and more of that shyness. She finds comfort in curling up in the dog bed with and without others. Monica currently is living harmoniously with both dogs and cats, she has yet to meet children. Monica often strolls the mall one "walks "in a stroller and has met many friends. A calm approach is a must. Eating a nutrient dense raw diet has shown to bring out a beautiful coat. A physically fenced yard is a must. A family home most hours is highly preferred in order to continue to help Monica feel comfortable. Small children are not suggested but those over 10 yrs and of savvy will be considered.

After a long journey to become healthy, Penny finally is and ready to find that perfect home! Penny Lane does have EPI (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency) and insulin dependent diabetes. What does this mean for Penny? it means Penny Lanes's pancreas is not functioning, she does not have the enzymes to proper breakdown and digest her food nor does her body make insulin. These are easy fixes! Peny's raw food must have enzymes added and incubated prior to eating and then receives an insulin injection at each meal. I have to say, Penny Lane is not a fan of the injection but it is quick and the insulin has completely turned her around...once at a bit over 8lbs, she now is nearing 12lbs! Penny lives with other dogs, however no experience with cats or young children. She will require a home where an adult is home most hours, a physical fence is required and children over 10 yrs and respectful of dogs is a must.

It is with great excitement that we report Oliver has been seen by a board certified cardiologist and he in fact does NOT have an enlarged heart and does NOT have DCM! Echo was very unremarkable except for a very slight mitral valve insufficiency, but as the cardiologist said....he is a Cavalier after all. Oliver no longer needs to take meds but like most Cavaliers, we have kept him on a Cardiac Supplement, Cardio Strength from VetriScience. Although Oliver is loved in his foster home, it is time for him to find a home of his own. He lives with other dogs but has not been introduced to cats or children. A physical fence is required so that he can continue to explore safely. Oliver has always been on a nutrient dense raw food diet and absolutely adores it! The ideal home would be one that is home most hours, work from home, children under 10 yrs, a physical fence and another dog companion.
