**ADOPTION PENDING**
5 year old Ellie has had a full physical, she has been diagnosed with a grade 2/6 murmur, has no symptoms, therefore no medication except regular cardiac support supplements. This is where a raw naturally sourced diet is key because the organ heart is rich in taurine. Taurine is vital in cardiac supplementation. Ellie's knees are sound. She has been spayed and received a dental in which 23 teeth were extracted. Unfortunately the poor dental health may have lead to the murmur. Thankfully Ellie is on the path to better health! Ellie is a dream dog, a typical Cavalier that wants nothing more than to be with her human and other dogs as well. She enjoys playing in the fenced in yard, exploring from one end to another. Toys are new and not completely sure what to do with them. Ellie has taken to her raw meals and raw treats. All dogs go home with a Mine Pet Platter which mimics naturally eating. Housebreaking is coming along and if you take out on a regular basis, soon it will be accomplished. Ellie lives with other dogs but has not been exposed to cats. An ideal home is one in which her human is home most times, has a fenced yard, children that are respectful of dogs and one that will allow her to sleep in the bed!

5 year old Julie is settling well into her foster home. She loves everyone and everyone loves her! Julie is enjoying time playing and running with her foster brothers and sisters. Her favorite time is exploring the yard! Julia has presented with a head tilt, she has seen the specialty vet for chiropractic and acupuncture. She has also been spayed and had a dental with 21 extractions. House breaking is coming along. A family that is home most hours is best to continue housebreaking, meaning let out every 2-3 hrs. Julia is not a fan of the crate and will let you know, however, she does keep the crate clean when she is in it. Julia also loves her food and lets you know she is aware of you making her plate! If Julia had her way she would be on your lap or next to you in bed at all times...sharing your pillow is her favorite! Julie is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Adopter must agree to continued acupuncture and chiropractic care. Julie, like all adoptees, will come with a Mine Pet Platter. Obedience training, Julie falls in the Beginner class but does know her name and will come when called.

**MEDICAL HOLD**
One year old Mila arrived in CRM with bilateral rear leg deformities, emaciated, weighting only 2.8 lbs.
Mila has had a consultation with surgeon and he feels, although no guarantees, he can perform surgery and help Mila. At this point Mila is not stable enough for surgery. She will be having a 6 week follow up in the coming weeks to see if she is stable enough. her weight is currently 4.8 lbs.

UPDATE: Mila was able to have bilateral leg surgeries and a spay. Mila is tolerating stretching and Physical therapy. Mila is now using BOTH of her legs! Surgery is considered a success. She may never have what we consider normal use of her legs, she is getting around. Her back is still hunched over and receiving chiropractic care as well as acupuncture.

**MEDICAL HOLD**
5 year old Asher is well known to our vets. After arriving in July of 2020 and being on a diet, Asher now weighs in at 18lbs which helped after having bilateral FHO (hip surgery. During recovery, a left facial droop was noted. With the help of our supporters, Asher received a MRI which revealed SM (syringomyelia), CM (chiari-like malformation and PSOM (primary secretory otitis media)....the Cavalier Trifecta. While under sedation, both ear canals were flushed and build up removed. Asher lives with other dogs but has not been exposed to cats. He loves his raw food which is fed on a Mine Pet Platter. He enjoys his chews, swimming and being with his human! A fenced yard is best so he can put his nose to the ground and explore.
Update 06/02/2021: Asher has moved to Medical Hold as he suddenly started vomiting and refusing food and water. Lab draws indicated acute renal failure and immediate urgent care is being rendered. Asher has lost significant amount of weight, once stable and eating, weight gain will be the goal.
