Sadie is such a snuggle bug. She loves curling up with her human and small dog friends. She even does great with cats. She is afraid of big dogs but will relax if they ignore her. She loves going for walks and car rides but her favorite thing is climbing or jumping onto whatever she can. She will need to go to a home where someone that doesn't work outside of the home. She would not do well being alone for extended periods of time. She is a real joy

Meet Reese! I am 3 years old and am getting used to being a dog. I am still scared of a lot, but I am trying to be brave. I love the couch and am ok with calm humans sitting by me. I like to run and jump and play with my foster sisters so another dog to play with in my forever home would be best. I love to keep my home clean by picking up the random things lying around and putting them in a safe place. I would need a fenced yard because I would leave from fear. I am doing great on potty training and have had very few accidents. I sleep in my crate quietly. I am still afraid of stairs. All in all, I have come a long way in a short time.

I am Shelby! I love EVERYONE! I am pretty chill and will hang out wherever you are. I have luxating patellas so I can't jump on furniture but if you have stairs for the couch I'll use them and lay right by you. The CRM team is going to have me evaluated for possible surgery to repair my knees. I am not a huge fan of going outside in the snow so I am still working on housetraining. I sleep in my kennel at night with my foster sister. Fostered in Wisconsin

Napoleon is ready for his forever home. He is completely attached to his foster mom. He is afraid of men so he would need a gentle understanding dad to help him understand that men are ok. He would do well with any other well adjusted playmate, he loves to twirl around outside.
From foster mom "Every time Foster dad stands up, or talks to him, Napoleon either looks away or moves away from him. And yet, if I put Napoleon on his lap, he loves to be rubbed on and petted by him and in bed, Napoleon loves it when Foster dad is petting him" Since he scares easily we are asking for a family with children at least 10 years of age.

Foster with intent

Noel is a newer intake, her initial vet exam went well.  We are treating her infected paw and leg and it is coming along wonderfully.  Noel loves attention and will sit in your lap for hours to be combed, pet and so forth.  She learned stairs, down is still a little scary.  Housebreaking is coming along.  Noel head to foster with option where the healing can continue and vetting completed until final adoption.

Foster with intent

Rachel is working on a weight loss program.  After years in a breeding program she is slower to come around to human touch.  She is learning stairs and what it is to live in a home. Her favorite activity is eating from her mine Pet Platter.  Her happy/safe zone is a crate.  Rachel will be going to her foster with option home soon where she will have the opportunity to blossom!

Zane is a typical happy go lucky Blenheim. He lives with both dogs and cats. Loves to explore, fenced yard is a must.  He is learning basic commands and house breaking.  He will happily sleep on the bed and loves walks.

Foster

Phoebe is a typical Velcro Cavalier, well adjusted and happy.  Loves to be by her people.  She has been diagnosed with EPI (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency) and will need to stay on enzymes for the rest of her life. EPI is an easy disorder to care for.   She will be in foster until she is a stable weight.

Long Term Foster

Hi! My Name is Annabelle Annabelle is a dear 7 yr old that found her way to rescue after her owner made a heartbreaking decision to surrender due to inability to give her the life she once had and deserved.  Annabelle is currently residing with other dogs and cats…the cats she is not so sure of! She appears to be housebroken yet no signals have been seen yet.  Annabelle came in with what appears to be sensitives to food as shown in her discolored feet, chin and perianal areas. In just a matter of a week, the redness has subsided.  Annabelle will be seeing a vet and addressing her needs this week. Check back for updates. Dec. 2019 - UPDATE Annabelle continues to have sensitivity outbreaks.  It has been determined that she will remain in her current foster home indefinitely *Annabelle is not available for adoption
